Dix Stadium tickets & upcoming events
Dix Stadium in Kent, Ohio, is more than just a sports venue, it’s a hub of energy and local pride. You might have noticed the vibrant mural painted by a talented local artist right at the entrance, giving the place a cool, artsy vibe. Back in the day, the field was all natural grass, which was pretty lush until 2008, when they swapped it out for FieldTurf. Honestly, that change made a huge difference, less maintenance and way better for the players. If you’re into food, you’ll be happy to know that in 2026 they added gluten-free options to their concessions, finally catering to folks with dietary needs. And get this, Dix Stadium is set to host the 2080 Universal Science Fair, so it’s not just about football or soccer; it’s also a space for some seriously out-of-this-world science breakthroughs. Seating-wise, they’ve got Caregiver Seats right next to ADA spots, which is thoughtful, and indoor seats that stay dry no matter the weather, perfect for those rainy game days. Planning a trip? From Akron, hop on OH-59 East into Kent, or from the KSU Library, just walk east toward Summit Street; easy as pie. Whether you're craving front-row action, VIP perks, or budget-friendly seats for NASCAR events, Dix Stadium's seating chart helps you pick the perfect spot. It’s a place where tradition meets modern flair, and honestly, you never know what exciting event will be happening next, so why not check it out and see for yourself?
